Barbara was born c. 1962 in Willowra, currently living in Alice Springs with her family.
Barbara’s work predominantly represents women's sacred stories, ceremonies, and healing
powers relating to her country.
Like many women of the Warlpiri language group, Barbara is renowned for her intricate style
of dotting using subtle colours and dual dot sizing in her work.
She began painting around 1990 and her work has been very popular within Australia and
overseas.
