Barbara Reid Napangardi

Barbara's work represents the country as both puli - rock formations and tali - sand hills.
Her work predominantly represents women's sacred stories, ceremonies, and healing relating
to the country around the Gibson Desert.
She began painting around 1987 with the Centre for Aboriginal Artists in Alice Springs.
Her work has been part of many private exhibitions throughout Australia as both group and
solo, and was included in the 17th National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award.
