Helen Kunoth is the daughter
of the well known artist Nancy Petyarre.
Her work follows the
intricate detail of her mother’s fame as she depicts the ‘Awelye’ or body
painting used in ceremony. As both carefully placed linear work and intricate
dot work a generous movement is achieved presenting her skill as an artist.
